Orange Dreamsicle Smoothie

When you hear “dreamsicle,” what flavor comes to mind? For many, it’s the classic summertime treat of vanilla ice cream coated in orange-flavored ice.

But did you know a dreamsicle can actually be made with other fruits? Other flavors include blue raspberry, lime, grape, cherry, and even blueberry!

Today, we’re sticking with the tried-and-true orange for a tasty smoothie perfect in the summer months – and all year long!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 mandarin oranges
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup nonfat Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup coconut water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 5 ice cubes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Blendall ingredients well, adding more ice as necessary to reach a consistency of your liking.
