Keto Tuna Melts

Despite having the equipment, Americans before the turn of the 20th century rarely, if ever, grilled their sandwiches. It wasn’t until a mass immigration of Italians made their way to the United States that Americans began adopting the practice of “pressing” their own!

Turn your traditional tuna melt into a healthy, tasty muffin in this bariatric-friendly recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • 5 oz Tuna Fish can Drained
  • ¼ cup Mayo
  • ¼ cup Sour Cream
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 ½ cups cheese Shredded
  • 1 tsp sea salt or 3/4 tsp table salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Parsley chopped

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pre-Heat Oven to 350
  2. In a medium bowl add tuna fish, mayo, sour cream, eggs, cheese, salt, pepper and Parsley
  3. combine well.
  4. In a greased cupcake tin divide tuna mixture evenly.
  5. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes.
  6. Cool and enjoy!
